Arnold (Arnie) Koehler is a graduate of the Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, Northland College and Hamline University School of Law.  Arnie brings vast municipal expertise to Koehler & Stephens Law Office having served as the Mayor of Ashland, Wisconsin for 2 years and as the municipal legal counsel for the city of Rice Lake for 21 years.    

Arnie was proudly raised in Weyerhaeuser, Wisconsin and served the US Military in Vietnam.  He is an avid Brewers fan and train collector and volunteers with the local Rice Lake Kiwanis.

Speaking with the Judge


Brittany (Britt) Stephens is a graduate of Hamline University and the William Mitchell College of Law.  She brings extensive legal experience in the areas of estate planning, small business and municipal law, as well as serving as a Guardian ad Litem for children and adults. Additionally, Britt is a certified family law mediator, bringing a calming presence to those going through divorce or legal separation.

Brittany is a native of Northwestern Wisconsin, and heavily involved in numerous community activities and causes, including serving on various local boards and committees.

Signing a Contract


Trudy brings 22 years of experience as a legal assistant to her role at Koehler & Stephens.  Her mastery of the probate system is unmatched, and adds tremendous value for Koehler & Stephens clients.

Trudy grew up in Weyerhauser and presently calls Rice Lake home.  In her spare time, there's nothing she'd rather do than spend time with her grandchildren and her trusty Springer Spaniel, Piper.

Elaine provides critical support services to Koehler & Stephens muncipal clients employing her amazing organizational skill set.  Elaine has been a Koehler & Stephens team member since 2004.

Originally from Illinois, she has called Northwestern Wisconsin home for over 30 years.  Her free time is spent camping, boating or enjoying the great outdoors.  She loves spending time with her family.
